Sunday we celebrate that our Lord indeed lives.
Nothing is more important. The fact that our God is alive changes everything.
It gives us the courage to go on doing the hard things when it counts. It gives us the faith to believe that all things are possible. It shows us the power of an Almighty God who will love and care for us. It lets us know that God will never leave us or forsake us.
God has come to live among us through His Spirit. We are never alone. As you work, play, walk, and craft God is with you giving you everything you need to continue on your journey.
I encourage you to take some this weekend and revel in the love of God. Enjoy His presence. Remember His resurrection.
He Is RISEN!

Holiday Idea’s Part 4
By Rose H.
Christmas is over. It’s sad isn’t it? We enjoy the holidays
so much and then all too soon they’re over.
Now as we look forward to the New Year. A new beginning. A
time to make new goals, to plan new projects, to dream new dreams.
So let’s get going. Put on your thinking caps. Let’s figure
out what we are going to do this year.
As you plan, here’s a few things to remember.
1.
Remember the bigger picture. Remember the
reasons you do what you do. Make your plans based on that.
2.
Keep things simple. Don’t try to bit off more
than you can chew. Make some simple and easy goals.
3.
Pray about your goals.
4.
Ask friends to join in. Having encouragement and
support is always a great idea to ensure that you see your goals through to the
finish.
5.
Enjoy the process of making new goals.
6.
As always, keep an open mind. Maybe try
something that you have never tried before. Just live out the calling that God
has called you to.

Black Friday
Wow, thanksgiving 2011 is in the books. Now it's time to do our Christmas planning and shopping.
Normally our family doesn't do much shopping today, but I am looking forward to the new holiday season.
I pray that in the coming weeks God will help me to be able to spread joy and good news wherever I go.
Let's be on the lookout for ways that we can bless others this holiday season. Even if it's just giving a few dollars to a bell ringer, volunteering at a soup kitchen, or spending some extra time with family.
