I'm sorry I wasn't feeling good yesterday, so I'm doubling up again today.
I'm grateful for medicine and family to help ease the pain when I'm sick.
I'm grateful for work. Sometimes it seems like theres too much to do. Cleaning, blogging, teaching, Bible reading, craft projects, reading, family stuff, and e-mail. But I'm grateful that I have things to keep me busy. That I'm not so board that I get into trouble. :)

Gratefulness Challenge: Day 16
I'm grateful for thank you notes. I was putting a thank you note away and I decided to look over some of the thank you notes that people have sent me over the years for things that I've given them. They are treasures that give me encouragement to keep doing good.

Half way mark!
I'm grateful for neighbors. When you live out in the country like we do, you get to know and trust you neighbors.

Gratefulness Challenge: Day 8
I'm grateful for a Christian co-op to teach at. I really enjoy teaching and all the people that I get to hang out with.
Gratefulness Challenge: Day 7
The one week mark!
I'm grateful for dreams. God allows me to dream big and then set out on fulfilling those dreams. And those that aren't His will for me to fulfill, He makes it clear and help me to get back on the right track.

30 Day Gratefulness Challenge
Recently I have been reading a book by Nancy Lee DeMoss called Choosing Gratitude. In this book Nancy challenges women to cultivate grateful hearts.
This has been a wonderful book for me. I thought I had a grateful heart and a thankful attitude, but when I read this book I realized how much I complain and choose to see things in a bad light. But with God’s help I’m trying to become a more grateful person.
Instead looking at the negatives in my life I try to look at the positives. When I’m sleepily making breakfast, I thank God for all the food resources that I have and for such a wonderful family that I get to cook for. When I’m getting ready for yet another day of teaching co-op, play practice, and helping out, I thank God that I get to teach and love others and that I get to be in a play.
But I’ve decided to take this one step further. How would you like to take a challenge with me? For the next thirty days find one thing to be grateful for. Even in those things that seemed to be negatives see if you can find something to be thankful for in them.
Every day for the next 30 days I will post something that I’m grateful for. Feel free to add your own thoughts and things that you are grateful for.
Have fun, Rose.

Encouragement
Psalms 90:17 (NIV)
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us-- yes, establish the work of our hands.
